FAQs
What is Wagyu beef?
Wagyu is one of the most celebrated breeds in the world, known for its extraordinary marbling, rich depth of flavour, and that unmistakable melt-in-the-mouth quality. Originally from Japan, it is beef raised with real patience and care. At Kingsbury Farms, we have taken those Japanese principles and applied them here on our farm in Co. Armagh.
Why is Wagyu beef so well marbled?
Wagyu cattle have a unique genetic ability to store fat through the muscle rather than around it. This is what gives Wagyu its distinctive richness and that melt-in-the-mouth quality. The more marbling, the more flavour.
Is your beef award winning?
Yes and we are incredibly proud of it. Our Sirloin was awarded a Gold Medal at the World Steak Challenge, scoring 92 out of 100. It is one of the highest-profile beef competitions in the world, judged by some of the most respected palates in the industry.
How do you deliver?
Every order is packed with care in reinforced chilled packaging, designed to keep your beef in perfect condition from our farm to your door. We take the same pride in getting it to you as we do in raising it.

How much does delivery cost?

Yes, we deliver across the UK and Ireland. Our beef is packaged specifically for longer transit to ensure it arrives in perfect condition.
Is your beef sustainable?
Caring for the land is as important to us as caring for our herd. We aim to operate a Net Zero production process built on a circular economy, nothing goes to waste on our farm. We even run our own anaerobic digester, converting natural by-products from the herd into clean renewable energy that powers local homes and our own farm. Our feed programme has also allowed us to reduce our carbon footprint by over 40% compared to traditional Wagyu farming. Good for the beef. Good for the planet.
